The third annual Veuve Clicquot Masters polo tournament proved, once again, to be one of the most sophisticated and elegant events on the South African social calendar.
VIVID has been involved in this annual event since its inception in 2011, and co-owns the event with Val de Vie Events. Responsible for Event Planning, Conceptualization, Budgets, Sponsorship Procurement and Management, Programme of Events and Media and PR, VIVID has, over the last few years, sharpened its ability to execute both exclusive, detail driven events, as well as large scale public events for up to 1300 people.
Event responsibilities included managing the Veuve VIP Lounge, the VIP Guest List, all Sponsors Lounges, all event activities such as Petanque, Table Tennis, and Best Dressed Competitions, as well as managing MCs, Commentator briefs, and Media Accreditations. Sponsors VIVID secured over the years include Blackberry, Bentley, Maserati, Elizabeth Arden, Estee Lauder, Jenni Button, Hilton Weiner, Haagen-dazs, Mango Airlines and the Taj Hotel to name a few. Significant Media Partnerships were negotiated with the SABC3, SAFM and Grazia, and almost R8million worth of media coverage was generated in the 2013 event, across a range of leading magazines, newspapers, blogs, websites, radio stations and television programmes.
